This Return & Shipping Policy applies to all purchases made through the website of Compressed Comfort Furniture (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Shipping & Delivery

We deliver furniture products, including expandable vacuum-packed sofas, across Western Australia and selected interstate locations.

1.1 Processing Time

Orders are processed after payment is confirmed. Processing and dispatch times may vary depending on stock levels and warehouse schedules. Estimated timeframes will be provided at checkout or via follow-up communication.

1.2 Delivery Timeframes

Delivery time will depend on your location and the carrier used. Any delivery dates provided are estimates only and may be affected by courier capacity, seasonal demand, or unforeseen delays.

1.3 Delivery Requirements

Customers must provide accurate delivery information. If the delivery address is incorrect or inaccessible, additional charges may apply for redelivery. Once an order is delivered to the address provided, responsibility for the goods transfers to the customer.

2. Returns & Exchanges

We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which guarantees your rights in relation to faulty or defective goods.

2.1 Change of Mind

For hygiene and packaging reasons, change-of-mind returns are not accepted once a sofa has been opened, expanded, or used.

Unopened, unused items may be eligible for return within 7 days, subject to approval.
Return shipping costs must be covered by the customer unless required by law.

2.2 Faulty or Defective Products

If an item is faulty, damaged during delivery, or does not function as described, please contact us promptly.
We may request photos or details to assess the issue.

Where a fault is confirmed, remedies may include:

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Refund

The appropriate remedy will be determined in accordance with the ACL.

2.3 Reporting an Issue

Issues must be reported within a reasonable time after delivery. Delays in reporting may affect available remedies.

3. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before they are dispatched.
Once an order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled and will be treated under the returns section above.

4. Product Conditions for Returns

Returned items must be:

  • In original packaging

  • Unused and unassembled

  • Free from damage, stains, marks, or modifications

Items not meeting these conditions may be declined for return.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method. Processing times vary depending on banks and payment providers.

Shipping fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law or if we made an administrative or delivery error.
